Maine Windjammer Association

Maine's tall ship sailing adventures are a wonderful way to escape the hectic pace of the new millennium, complete with spectacular scenery, outstanding food and interesting shipmates. Three-day getaways mix seafaring adventure with the majestic beauty and serenity of the Maine coast. Their traditional six-day package promises total immersion in the restful routine of shipboard life, varied ports-of-call and a night of all the lobster you can eat.

On every cruise, lighthouses, seabirds, seals and porpoises abound, with ever-changing scenery around every rocky bend. The thirteen ships in the Maine Windjammer Association operate out of Camden, Rockport and Rockland, located in mid-coast Maine. Most of them were built at the turn of the century.
