St. Andrews, named for the patron Saint of Fishermen, is a Critical Access Hospital, uniquely situated on the end of a 12 mile-long peninsula in mid-coast Maine. St. Andrews services the communities of the Boothbay Harbor Region, a population of 6,000 with an extended summer population of 45,000. The only hospital north of the Carolinas that is accessible by land, sea and air, St. Andrews offers primary care, specialty medical services, a residential Long Term Care facility and Maine's first comprehensive retirement community.
