Stephen Phillips Memorial Library at Penobscot Marine Museum is one of Maine’s largest keepers of genealogical and local history research materials. The Library holds approximately 12,000 books, 1,000 linear feet of manuscripts and archive materials, 15,000 photographs, and 3,000 nautical charts, in addition to serials, maps, audio-video collections, and scrapbooks.
