Oratorio Chorale is an independent organization of singers founded in 1974, by Bowdoin College alumnus and music scholar C. Russell Crosby, to promote the choral arts in mid-coast Maine. Its members seek personal musical growth and the joy of making music together. It has delighted audiences along the coast of Maine for more than 25 years in programs of works ranging from the renaissance to the 20th Century. The Chorale is especially concerned with nurturing a love of music in young people.
