Penobscot Bay

Penobscot Bay, an inlet of the Atlantic Ocean, is located on the central coast of Maine. The bay is about 30 miles long and 20 miles wide, and contains many islands which include North Haven, Vinal Haven, Isleboro, and Deer Isle. The Penobscot River enters the bay at its northern end.
