Georgetown - Richards Library, serving an area of 1,000 residents, has a collection of 6,300 books and periodicals; in addition, there are 16 CDs, records, cassettes and other audio materials, as well as 40 video items, such as DVDs and VHS tapes.
Staffing consists solely of volunteers. Annual expenditures on the library collection total $1,680. Patrons make 3,300 visits annually, and check out materials 3,400 times. Fifty percent of all check-outs are children's materials.
