Located in Carnegie Hall, the museum's permanent collection, which boasts one of the oldest and most distinguished collections in the country, and features more than 5000 modern works of art. The museum displays original paintings, drawings, and wall hangings throughout the campus.

The entire museum is home to over 5700 works, artists including Diego Rivera, Picasso, Daumier, Inness, Braque, and more. Maine artists Andrew Wyeth, Homer, Marin, Abbott, and Sprinchorn are honored as well. The museum is open to the public, and admission is free.
