Oakland House Seaside Resort offers 50-acre compound of family sized cottages, bed and breakfast styled Shore Oaks Seaside Inn, and a fine dining restaurant stretching along a half-mile of peaceful Eggemoggin Reach shorefront. The Inn built in 1907, features ten bedrooms, living room with weathered stone fireplace, oak furniture, wicker chairs, window seats, huge windows, and antique grandmother and grandfather rocking chairs. The house offers fifteen cottages, some are true log cabins with open rafters and others are refined yet relaxed. Most have real wood-burning fireplaces.
