Riverside Bed & Breakfast

The Riverside B & B is located in the historic part of Bath on Maine's Mid-Coast. A classic three-story Italianate mansion built in the 1850's by a local shipbuilding tycoon, it was recently restored to prize-winning acclaim by a professional interior designer, who is also your hostess. The Riverside overlooks from atop a bluff the Kennebec River on one side and on the other Washington Street, known for its architecturally distinct period homes as Maine's most aristocratic street (in fact, scenes for a 1999 Hollywood film, Message in a Bottle, with Kevin Costner and Paul Newman, were filmed across from our establishment.)
