Chewonki Campground overlooks the saltwater inlet of Montsweag Bay. It offers 47 spacious grass sites with sun or shade, picnic tables, fireplaces, picnic table shelters, hot showers, flush toilets, full hookups, dumping station, camp store, launching ramp, dock, filtered salt water pool, wading pool, recreation hall, and modem access. Recreational facilities include volleyball, horseshoes, badminton, basketball, croquet, canoe, kayak, boat rentals, playground, and one-hole golf course. Pets are allowed. Area attractions include Historical Village of Wiscasset, Art Museums, Old Jail and County Court House, Antique Shows, Flea Markets, Numerous Festivals and Agricultural Fairs.
