Matagamon Wilderness Campground Camps is located 26 miles west of Patten on Route 159. It offers wooded sites along the shore of the East Branch Penobscot River with picnic table and fire ring. Other facilities include boat rentals, hot showers, honey wagon, canoes, gas, wood and ice. Recreational and waterfront activities are provided.
