Addison is in Lenawee County, and in the Southeast Region. You can find Addison located on Addison Rd. just off of US Hwy 127, and south of Somerset. Addison is part of the Ann Arbor, Michigan metro area. Addisons history goes back to 1835 when its first pioneer, John Talbot, built a grist mill here. At that time, he called the town Manetau. Numerous businessmen moved here afterwards and more mills were built, with names changing several times: Peru, Brownells Mills, Jacksons Mills and Harrison. In 1851, Addison J. Comstock, a banker from Adrian, purchased a very large chunk of land here and registered it under "Addison," and the name took hold. The town was incorporated into a village in 1893.

Mentone Egg Festival Mentone IN May30-June1 The three-day event features entertainment, games, food, a parade in the downtown area, a play area for kids, and a huge car, truck, motorcycle and tractor show. All entertainment events are free. Flea markets and crafters line the main street in our downtown.
