Mid Michigan Aikikai exists to develop quality Aikido through enjoyable and wholehearted practice. Aikido is a modern, non-violent, non-aggressive Japanese martial art. The training emphasizes a flexible response, rather than rigid, pre-arranged action. Students experience the development of strength, flexibility, coordinated movement, increased range of motion, and greater awareness of their body.
