Center Line is in Macomb County, and in the Southeast Region. This community is located off of I-696 between Roseville and Oak Park. Center Line is part of the Detroit, Michigan metro area. Center Line was incorporated into a village in 1925 and then as a city in 1936. Center Line got its name from being placed between two major Indian Trails in the 1840s.
