Comstock Park is in Kent County, and in the West-Southwest Region (part of the Grand Rapids-Muskegon-Holland, Michigan metro area). This community is located on Lamoreaux Dr. NW and off of US Hwy 131.

This town was originally named North Park by its founder, Daniel North, who built a sawmill there in 1838. Later in 1848, it was named Mill Creek, and became a station on both the Grand Rapids & Indiana and Chicago & Western Railroads. In 1906, the town was renamed Comstock Park, after Charles C. Comstock, who represented the district in Congress from 1885-1886.

This town is best known as the location for Fifth Third Park, home of the West Michigan Whitecaps baseball team. This is currently a fast-growing area.
