This community is located southwest of Traverse City along Highway 115 near Crystal Lake and the Lake Michigan shoreline.Frankfort has a park and marina that are attractive and well maintained, and the shops are in large numbers. The approach to Frankfort on US 31, which is quite elevated, is spectacular.
