The large, Marblehead limestone house resembles Scottish Baronial style, but blends English Gothic with Prairie styles. On the river is a round, medieval, castellated corner tower and a stepped, parapeted gable applied to the low house with porte-cochere. The landscaping is c.1914-1920 and the gardens are restored. Servants' cottages, a pony barn, and a powerhouse connected by a 300-ft tunnel can also be seen. Guided tours are offered.
