Hillsdale Community Health Center is the only acute care hospital in Hillsdale County. Over the past sixty years, they have continued to improve and expand, meeting the growing and changing needs of the community through educational and technological advances. Ten years ago Hillsdale Community Health Center was perceived to be a "Band-Aid Station" by the local community. Today their facility treats an estimated 35,000 patients in the Emergency Department, 235,000 Laboratory visits, together with 2,700 surgeries, to name a few. Laparoscopic surgery, Orthopedic care offered through their state-of-the-art Joint Replacement Center, eye surgeries and laser surgeries continue to expand, offering county residents state-of-the-art surgical procedures close to home.

Mentone Egg Festival Mentone IN May30-June1 The three-day event features entertainment, games, food, a parade in the downtown area, a play area for kids, and a huge car, truck, motorcycle and tractor show. All entertainment events are free. Flea markets and crafters line the main street in our downtown.
