Marlette Community Hospital opened on June 22, 1951 and is a 97-bed, multi-faceted health care organization that provides medical, surgical, and emergency services to Sanilac, Tuscola, Huron, Lapeer, and St. Clair counties. This facility served over 75,000 patient visits last year. In addition to its traditional inpatient and outpatient services, the hospital owns and operates an advanced life-support ambulance service, a 24-unit apartment complex for independent senior living, a home-based hospice program and an onsite hospice residence, as well as a network of primary care offices.
