A 64-bed hospital, MidMichigan Medical Center - Clare offers services that are reflective of a rural, primary care hospital. Inpatient care includes special units for intensive, progressive, obstetrical and pediatric care, as well as for medical and surgical care. The Medical Center provides 24- hour emergency room coverage and services including: Radiology, Nuclear medicine, Laboratory, Ultrasound, CT scanning, Rehabilitation services, Outpatient surgery including general, gynecological and ophthalmology. MidMichigan Urgent Care-Clare is operated by the Medical Center to provide walk-in and occupational medicine care to area residents. This service is conveniently located less than a mile from the Medical Center and has extended hours. The Medical Center is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
