Children's Hospital Of Michigan

The only freestanding hospital in Michigan dedicated exclusively to caring for children, Children's Hospital of Michigan has been devoted to children's health care since its founding in 1886.

Staffed by more than 200 pediatricians, 125 pediatric specialists, 600 pediatric nurses and over one thousand pediatric-trained employees, more Michigan pediatricians are trained at Children's Hospital than at any other hospital in the state.

Children's is specifically designed to cater to pediatric patients, from their kid-friendly emergency room that treats more than 60,000 children each year, to the newly remodeled patient rooms that have areas for parents to rest comfortably in with their child. With playrooms, activity centers, computer labs, and classrooms on every floor, the facility makes a child's temporary transition from home to hospital easy with their remarkable attention to detail.
