The Talbert and Leota Abrams Planetarium, located on the beautiful Michigan State University campus, serves as an astronomy and space science education resource center for central Michigan. The planetarium is an outreach unit of the Department of Physics and Astronomy, and as such, supports astronomy teaching on campus as well as offers a variety of planetarium shows to the public- preschool through senior citizens. The planetarium houses an exhibit hall with a book and gift counter, a black light gallery of astronomical art, and a hemispherical domed sky theater.
