This 110-room Tudor-revival style mansion was built 1926-1929 at a cost of $4 million. It is renowned for its craftsmanship, exquisite detailing and grand scale. Its 80,000 square feet has carefully preserved original furnishings and art, reflecting the lavish lifestyles of the American industrialists of the early 20th century. The mansion was constructed of brick, sandstone, wood timbers and a roof of clay shingle tile. 39 uniquely designed brick chimneys highlight the picturesque roofline.
