Hoeft State Park is a heavily wooded 301 acre park, with a mile of sandy, Lake Huron shoreline which offers an excellent swimming area, and scenic hiking along the one-mile beach.
The park has 142 modern campsites, some of which are within 100 yards of the lake shore. A small organization camp area is available for youth groups. The day use area provides a picnic area, picnic shelter, playground, and a great sandy beach for sunbathing and swimming.
