Seney National Wildlife Refuge

This refuge encompasses 95,212 acres west of the village of Germfask. This area includes 25,150 acres of wilderness designation. More than 200 species of birds as well as beavers, black bears, coyotes, minks, muskrats, otters and white-tailed deer inhabit the refuge. Large numbers of Canada geese breed at the refuge, which also has one of the highest concentrations of nesting loons in the state.

Visitors can follow a 1.5 mile trail. Open daily, dawn-dusk.
