Silver Lake State Park

Silver Lake State Park contains 1,500 acres of sand dunes that can be explored on foot or by vehicle. The park's 450-acre vehicle area (separate from the pedestrian area) is the only dune area in Michigan allowing off-road vehicles.

Other park highlights include the shaded campground on Silver Lake and Little Point Sable Lighthouse on the Lake Michigan beach.

Follow signs west from US-31 at either the Hart or Shelby exit.
