Young State Park is located on Lake Charlevoix, an inland lake offering boaters access to Lake Michigan. Lake Charlevoix is 17,260 acres and is popular for sailing, powerboating, water-skiing, and fishing. There is a boat launch within the park for boats under 16 feet in length.
