Ypsilanti is located in
Washtenaw County just west of
Detroit between
Dearborn and
Ann Arbor along Highway 12 near Belleville Lake. Home of the
Eastern Michigan University.
Ypsilanti is part of the Ann Arbor, Michigan metro area.
Ypsilantis motto is The City That Works. Ypsilanti was established in 1823, it is the second oldest city in the State of Michigan. Many of the houses in Ypsilanti were built in the 1800s even as early as 1830.
