In the Twin Cities Metro Region, Andover is a rapidly growing residential community in Anoka County, just north of the Twin Cities. It boasts more than 400 acres of community and neighborhood parks. Kelsey Round Lake Park is a 115-acre nature area for hiking, skiing and environmental observation. The Andover Community Center Complex consists of approximately 40 acres of play fields and playground equipment. Other recreational facilities include more than 400 acres of the Anoka County/Bunker Hills Regional Park which is home to the Bunker Hills Wave Pool, hiking/biking trails, cross country skiing trails, camping and other outdoor activities.
