This tiny community sits on County 4, south of US 2 in
Cass County, in the Chippewa National Forest. Que-wis-ans is the Ojibway translation for Boy River and Boy Lake. The river flows through the lake on its way to nearby Leech Lake. The area is favored by fisherfolk and for canoe exploration.
