Buffalo is located about 40 miles northwest of
Minneapolis on Hwy 55. The village of Buffalo was platted in the year 1856 and eventually became the county seat of
Wright County, in the
West Central Lakes Region. It lies between the shores of two major recreational lakes, Buffalo Lake and Lake Pulaski. Agriculture has remained its economical mainstay backed by business and industry.
