Established in 1999, the Forestedge Winery is nestled in the woods at the edge of the Paul Bunyan State Forest. Specializing in wines made from the fruits and berries that survive the northern winters, Forestedge offers a wide selection of light, dry fruit wines. Much of the fruit used in the Forestedge Wines is harvested from the winery grounds. Rhubarb plants which started as part of the family garden have now become a large part of what is harvested for Forestedge wines. Chokecherries, raspberries, and plums are also grown at the farm. Other fruits are purchased from local growers when available.
