The Greens at Howard Lake is located on the east side of the lake on County Road 7, 1/2 mile north of Highway 12. This attractive course features an Americanized links-type design. Doglegs, water hazards and rolling terrain combine to challenge the skill level of all golfers. The Greens is a 9-hole, par 36 course (with future expansion plans to 18 holes) featuring elevated and ground-level tees. The bluegrass fairways are wide and open; lining each hole are gently mounded rough areas that are planted with young trees. The course offers both evergreens and deciduous trees as hazards which gives the course a personality that many golf courses don't have. Constructed on USGA standards, greens average 6000-sq-ft, seeded with Penlinks bent grass to test the most dedicated golfer. Power carts, rental clubs, driving range and snacks are available at the pro shop; memberships and special rates are offered at all times.
