Hinckley is located in
Pine County southeast of
Mille Lacs Lake near St Croix State Park. In the
Pines and Mines Region, Hinckley lies on County 61 where Hwy 23 from
St Cloud meets I-35 from the twin cities. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 1,326, an increase of 380 since 1990.
