Hyland Ski and Snowboard Area

The 35-acre Hyland Ski & Snowboard Area, nestled within the 1,000-acre Hyland Park Reserve, features some of the best snowmaking and grooming in the Midwest; The ski area is owned and operated by the Suburban Hennepin Regional Park District. Some of the facilities here include a terrain park, 3 triple chair and 3 surface lifts, 14 trails of varying difficulty levels, ski and snowboard rentals and lessons, and childrens programs. Open daily December-March, schedule may change as dictated by local weather. Hyland is located 5 minutes from the Mall of America, just south of I494 and Hwy 100.
