Southwood Resort has been a small family run resort for over 50 years. Southwood is the closest resort to Grand Rapids giving you both the convenience of being close to the many local activities and enjoying the serine beauty of the great north woods. The resort provides cabins that are neat, clean, homey and tastefully decorated in their own themes. Each cabin is fully stocked with all of the necessities and all cabins come with a grill and patio furniture for your use and relaxation. The cabins also have extra folding beds, cribs, and high chairs. All cabins are non-smoking cabins. At the resort, you can enjoy volleyball, tetherball, basketball, horse shoes, fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boats, swimming, or just relaxing on the beach.
