In Woods and Waters Region, Lake Shore is located in Crow Wing County. It lies northwest of Brainerd on County 77, on the shore of Gulf Lake near Pillsbury State Forest. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 879, an increase of 186 since 1990.
