Mountain Iron

Mountain Iron is located in St. Louis County within the Pines and Mines Region west of Virginia on US 169. Mountain Iron is known as the "Birth-place of the Mesabi." The Mountain Iron Mine shipped the first Mesabi ore in 1892.
