BKS Iyengar Yoga Center of Minneapolis is a well established school of yoga study. The classes taught at the Center are based on the teachings of Mr. Iyengar who bases his teachings on the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the profound and timeless classical text of yoga. A six week series is designed to introduce the vigorous Iyengar method of Yoga to students new to Yoga or new to the Iyengar method. The classes emphasize standing postures. It includes beginning seated and forward bending postures followed by passive supported postures.
