Roseau is the county seat of
Roseau County in the Lakes of the Northern Lights Region of Minnesota. Located about 10 minutes from the Canadian border at the junction of Hwys 11, 89 and 310, Roseau was the birthplace of the snowmobile and is now the home of Polaris Industries.
Also located in the area are Hayes Lake State Park and Lake of the Woods.
