A quiet wilderness getaway located on beautiful Heart Lake, six miles from the hustle and bustle of Itasca State Park. LoonSong is newly built specifically as a bed and breakfast and a retirement home by David and Joyce Johnston. The home has a clean-swept country look with half log siding and authentic Minnesota decor. Upon entering the front door you will find yourself in an open great-room, with a grand staircase and fireplace, featuring spectacular views of the lake and gardens from its many windows. We have four guest bedrooms, each with its own bath and patio: the Minnesota Room, Garden Room, Basket Room, and our fully handicap-accessible Amish Room. Each room is adorned with a handmade quilt created by your hostess. The grounds are filled with flower beds and walking trails. The lake side yard has a small pond and a fire ring. There is a small beach, a quiet bay, fishing boat, canoe, and catamaran sailboat.
