Red River Valley Region

Along the western border of Minnesota flows the Red River to the north and Canada. The Red River Valley on the edge of the Great Plains, was once covered almost entirely with prairie grass.

Today it is a rich agricultural region offering an array of outdoor recreation, including hunting, bird watching, river tubing and snowmobiling.
