Six miles W of town. One of the few remaining oxbow lakes in NW Missouri, a gathering spot for shorebirds and waterfowls migrating along the Missouri River. Great wildlife viewing. Open year-round, except a part closed as a refuge mid-Oct through Jan. Free.
