Listed in the National Register of Historic Places, Willmore Lodge is nestled at the shores of Lake Ozark, a man-made body of water created by the Great Osage River Project, which completed the Bagnell Dam in 1931. It is 175 miles from St. Louis, and 90 miles from Springfield. Fed by five rivers, the lake has become a popular recreation area and a source of economic and environmental benefits.
The Lodge has over 25 rooms, and houses a museum, a cultural center and the Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.
