McDonald County 24 miles south of Neosho between Caverna and Anderson along Highway 71 near the Oklahoma and Arkansas state lines in extreme SW Missouri. Pineville is the county seat of
McDonald County.
The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 277, a decrease of 30 since 1990.
