Route 66 State Park

Search Festus Missouri

Missouri's newest state park features easy access to I-44 and the St Louis area. The former community of Times Beach, situated among the bluffs and woods of the Meramec River Valley, will now offer visitors a special event area, picnic area, boat ramp, and 13 miles of trails open to bicyclists, hikers and equestrians.

First stage of development scheduled to open to the public in 1999. A portion of historic Route 66 runs through the 409-acre park, and a planned interpretive center will trace the significance of the highway, as well as the history of the Times Beach area. Located two miles east of Eureka.

Location: 2901 Hwy 61, Festus Missouri 63028 Telephone 314-937-3697
