Shepherd of the Hills Homestead

A working homestead featuring shows, games and crafts. The area was the subject of Harold Bell Wright's novel, "The Shepherd of the Hills." Jeep-driven guided tours take visitors past Old Matt's 'Cabin, home of the leading characters, which contains most of its original furnishings. Inspiration Tower, standing 230 feet high, affords views of the surrounding country.
