More than 30,000 works of art covering a spectrum of cultures and periods are displayed in the fine arts pavilion of the 1904 World's Fair. Guarded by the heroic statue of St Louis the Crusader, the museum's collections include European, Asian and American paintings; African, Oceanic, and American Indian art; prints, drawings, and photographs; American and European decorative arts; and Chinese bronzes and porcelains.
