West's Hapkido Academy is a 5,250 sq ft modern facility totally dedicated to the teaching of HapKiDo to men, women and children in the Jackson suburb of Ridgeland, and offers the utmost in traditional HapKiDo instruction for those who are more interested in learning than they are in the color of their belt. Course of study includes stretching exercises, a proven aid in long-range health maintenance; self-defense techniques which require the student to move and to think in directions that are, at first, alien to him/her; and lastly, to make the student aware of his/her responsibility to others.
