Parkwood Hospital

Parkwood Behavioral Health System is a 106 bed facility (66 acute and 40 residential beds), devoted exclusively to the care and treatment of children, adolescents and adults with psychiatric and substance abuse issues. Since commencing operations in April, 1987, Parkwood has successfully served North Mississippi and the Mid-South region through the offering of comprehensive mental health services. Programs include inpatient, partial and residential treatment. Their residential treatment center has a fully licensed school on campus known as Park Academy.

Presently, there are six outreach assessment centers located throughout the northernmost part of Mississippi. These are located in [southav], Batesvil], Tupelo, Corinth, Grenada and Cleveland, MS.
